Shaktiman first episode was released in Hindi on Doordarshan on September 13. Initially Shaktiman serial was broadcast on Doordarshan from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturdays but with the afternoon serial not many people could watch it at first. After running like this for almost a year Mukesh Kanna asked Doordarshan to telecast the serial at night time
From then onwards this serial was telecasted from 10:30 PM to 11:30 PM on Tuesday night. They have grown at once.
