On June 2 of 2023 the 291 people were killed in a fatal train accident in Balasur district of Odisha. Another train came from behind and rammed the bogies of these two trains into another goods train. This accident became one of the worst train accidents in the history of Indian Railways. It was five months after the accident. It is not finished but another train accident which happened exactly that Balasu train accident has shocked everyone once this accident happened near Kothavalasa in Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh especially in two telugu states there is more and more talk about this accident so how did the actual train accident happen and where did it happen when did it happen and how many people so far I am going to tell you the complete details about the train accident in Vizianagaram but to know about this railway accident we must first talk about two passenger trains one of which is the passenger train from Visakhapatnam to Rayagada which leaves Visakhapatnam at 6 pm every day and travels a total of 122 kilometers and reaches Rayagada at 9 pm
After that another train Visakhapatnam Palasa passenger train departs from Visakhapatnam every evening at 6:45 PM and travels 24 km and reaches Palasa at 11:30 PM these two passenger trains are available for passengers from Visakhapatnam every day. These two trains depart from Visakhapatnam and travel on the same truck to Vizianagaram. After reaching Vizianagaram the Palasa passenger train will reach Palasa via Cheepurupalli, Narasannapet Kotabommali Tekkili. It is Rayagada passenger train that travels from Vizianagaram to Ganapati city Bobbili Parvathipuram and reaches Rayagada in Odisha but in our country the train does not come on time in the railway system do not reach scheduled railway station on scheduled time This is known to all of us October 29 trains left Visakhapatnam on scheduled time at five hours 45 minutes Palasa passenger train left Visakhapatnam railway station first then at six clock Rayagada passenger train left Visakhapatnam railway station palasa passenger train left Visakhapatnam railway station first.
Shortly after the departure 15 minutes later the Rayagada passenger train left on the same train track as usual but on October 29 Sunday evening near Avamandani railway station the overhead electrical line was severed. A short distance from Alamanda railway station the speed was completely reduced and the train was running slowly so this train from Visakhapatnam was only traveling a distance of 38 km. Have to travel So if there is a cable repair work near Alamanda railway station these two trains cannot move forward but the loco pilots of the Rayagada passenger trains coming behind do not know that the electrical cable has been cut and they also do not know that the Palasa train is moving slowly at that time so it is normally on the Rayagada side traveling like that at 7:00 p.m. At around a Palasa passenger train which was moving very slowly on the railway track was hit by a Raigad passenger train at a high speed. In this accident not only these two trains but also another oil tanker goods train parked next to it were damaged. All three trains collided.
All seven of these three trains were completely destroyed. The engine of the Rayagada passenger train was completely destroyed. Passengers are traveling The Rayagada passenger was seriously injured and soon after the incident the news spread in two Telugu states. Immediately the local police railway officials reached the spot and tried to save the victims. Apart from the totally faulty Bhogi all other Bhogis were removed from there. This accident took place in the middle of forests and crop fields. The distance between the accident site and the road was up to five kilometers. In addition to this, the accident took place in the dark and no one understood the situation with them and the trouble with their human bodies the area became so dreaded They were taken to Vizianagaram government hospital and handed over to the family members who conducted the postmortem and some others were taken to Visakhapatnam hospital. Naveen Patnaik also responded to the news of the accident the National Disaster Response Force NDRF from the center also started a rescue operation to reach the accident site. The State Disaster Response SBI from the state is also there and special texts from Odisha also participated in the risk operations. In case of defeat the state government has given 2 lakh rupees to the injured and 50,000 others say that the failure may also be the reason but it is known that an inquiry has been made into this accident but the real reason will be known after a complete investigation and the railway line where this train accident happened is an important line for trains between Howrah and Chennai West Bengal, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu are important in four states so the traffic on this route was completely stopped so the railway authorities immediately repaired the route especially where this train accident took place there are three railway tracks, one up line two down lines and the middle line in the middle of October 30 Monday evening up line work was completed and test drive was also done and traffic started. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Monday visited the injured people who are being treated at the hospital and observed the accident area through aerial survey in a helicopter and learned the cooperation process. In case of any accident we take precautions but for any unforeseen consequences the responsibility should be taken with the government because many common middle class families travel by these trains and thus there is a tense atmosphere in Vizianagaram.
