Royal Enfield has changed today for this company and the motorcycle it manufactures but if we go back 20 years the situation of this company is not the same. Enfield company is a 25 years old young and dynamic business Siddhartha Lal who wanted to close the Royal Enfield company today not only in India but in the world has become the most successful and highly demanded bikes but how did all this become possible And whether they can be used in professional life and turned into successful ventures or not I am going to tell in this video Atoms Many people think that Royal Enfield is an Indian company but it is not true In 1893 two people named Job Walkers with and helper ID made a bicycle in England named Enfield Manufacturing. Established a company that did not want to stop with just the bicycle business, but the Enfield Manufacturing Company manufactured a motor cycle in 1901 with a 239 cc engine. As the motorcycles manufactured by the Enfield Company became very famous in England, even in World War One and World War Two the demand for these motorcycles increased tremendously worldwide and this company brought a revolutionary change, the same Royal Enfield Bullet Motorcycle was displayed for the first time in the 1932 London Olympics. Seeing the demand for Sloga Royal Enfield bikes, a Tamil businessman named Care Sundaram Iyer from India founded the Madras Motors Company in 1949 and exported Royal Enfield motorcycles from England to India and sold them.
Slowly demand also increased in India because seeing its strong build quality and road present the Indian Army also ordered 500 bullets of 350 cc for the soldiers in 1952. Royal Enfield Company noticed that their business was expanding in India as well. Started a motorcycle manufacturing factory
The logic is that if these motorcycles are manufactured and sold in India instead of being imported and sold from other countries their price will come down and at the same time they can have a good position in the Indian motorcycle market as well. Royal Enfield company set up their factory in India with this idea but in reality what they thought did not happen. Because in the 1960 Honda Suzuki made a motorcycle and expanded their business all over the world. The Royal Enfield company which had done very good business until then saw a slow downfall in business. At the same time the chairman of this company died on rank walkers, so all the Royal Enfield factories in England were closed. Finally when 1978 came, Royal Enfield motorcycles were exported from the factory in India to foreign countries. In 1994, Eicher Motors Company which is well known for manufacturing commercial vehicles and trucks bought Royal Enfield Company. At the time when Vikram Lal the chairman of the motor company bought Royal Enfield, there were many problems in these motorcycles. After buying this company Lal wanted to expand it well and make it the number one motorcycle in the Indian market.
But unfortunately it did not happen there are two reasons for this. One is that the demand for Royal Enfield decreased due to the arrival of Japanese motorcycles in the Indian market in 1990. The second reason is Royal Enfield motorcycles. Due to some problems in India the customers did not come forward to buy the bikes of this company. In India this company was drowning in heavy losses and almost closed down. Royal Enfield entered the company their father asked them to give one chance to redevelop this company which had completely lost hope and finally in the year 2000 Siddhartha Lal took responsibility as the CEO of Royal Enfield Company and started working on it. At the time of buying Royal Enfield Siddhartha Lal had many businesses like tractors lorries motorcycle spare parts footwear and garments almost 15 businesses but the problem here is that none of the fathers were the main target in their sectors rather than doing many businesses at a time. Out of the present 15 businesses he focused on the two businesses that are running well and took all the money from the remaining 13 businesses and invested in these two businesses to develop them. These two businesses were used to develop and if Surprising Motors Company is doing a business of 15 thousand crores of rupees, 80% of that business is done through Royal Enfield bikes but the plan is a workout, how was it executed Strategy No. 2 Decoding the company strength and weakness means Royal Enfield motorcycles once Siddhartha Lal has researched what are the reasons why people
Buy so much and what are the reasons why they do not buy. That is do you know that in 1990 time people liked Royal Enfield most, its looks, design sound and performance were facing many problems bike engines, gear box, oil leakage clutch cable and many more so here Siddhartha understood that the classic look and design of this wagon should be changed. If some features in the market are done without doing these bikes will definitely be successful here if you observe one thing Siddharth Lal has identified the problem in this bike that is 50% solution is found but the remaining 50% is in the engine so for developing a good performance for Royal Enfield bikes TVS and RL Ravindran who worked in Bajaj Company was appointed as the CEO of Royal Enfield Company and using his experience in two wheeler industry Siddhartha solved many problems in Royal Enfield engine in 2008 by using new unit construction engine of Royal Enfield Company and Thunder Board launched Principle Park Motorcycle then it became a big success all over India these bikes are bought a lot not only in India but even exported to European countries first 500 cc Indian Motorcycle in 2009 a new company launched a new bike that is Royal Enfield Retro Needless to say it took the Royal Enfield company to a level where it sold 50 thousand bikes in a single year after only 25000 motorcycles per year till then.
Royal Enfield has taken the company to what level it is only 25000 motorcycle strike per year till then Royal Enfield company has trusted 50 thousand bikes within one year after launching this classic model just think how much craze Royal Enfield classic model has among people but here the point is that the company has so much trust in one year. And how many sales and how much money has come is the same Strategy No. 3 Brand Marketing Siddhartha Lal after taking charge as the CEO of Royal Enfield became a brand ambassador of this company and started promoting the bikes of this company in a different way that was till then only army soldiers. Siddharth Lal Gare himself drove these bikes for thousands of kilometers on Indian roads and identified the problems in these bikes by making some changes in the design and features of these bikes to find out how they work in reality to make the Royal Enfield motorcycles used by the common people comfortable. Rectifying and launching new models means that he is not an owner of a company but a customer who has identified the problems in his company and solved them himself and moreover Royal Enfield is not just a two wheeler motorcycle it is an emotion attitude and status symbol Siddharth Lal in quoting He became very successful because every year he planned rights with the customers who bought Royal Enfield bikes all over India conducted the event and particularly Siddharth Lal himself participated in them. Siddhartha Lal developed the Royal Enfield company slowly and studyly with his leadership qualities and business strategies. At one point of time he was able to sell more bikes than the Harley Davidson company in the world. Together with the Royal Enfield Motors, he launched a bike called the Harley Davidson 440 to compete with the Royal Enfield but how successful is it will be known soo
