There are many Shiva temples in our India but among them five Shiva temples are very amazing and they have hidden secrets that even scientists cannot understand. These five Shiva temples in Panchabhuta are called Panchabhuta Shivlinga Temples. Filled with soil, water, fire, air, how much is necessary for every living being, these five Panchbhuta Shivalinga temples represent these five Panchabhuta Shivalinga temples. These Panchalinga temples are proofs that every creature is the creation of Panchabhutala Jeevanadha Rao. These Panchalinga temples have been said since ancient times to this day. Lord Shiva incarnated in the water, light, air, sky and appeared in these five fields as Shiva Linga. Puranas say that these five fields are four in Tamil Nadu and one is in Andhra Pradesh. Those five lingas are Pridvilinga in the sky. Vayu Lingam Water Lingam Agni Lingam Now let us know the special features of these five Shiva Lingams one by one First the number one Akasa Lingam one of the Panchabhuta Lingams is located in Chidambaram Tamil Nadu as a proof that God exists in the void where the Moolavirat in this temple is supposed to be there is only a foot space. This Lord who is nothing is worshiped here. We heard that Chidambara secret is also from him. This temple is famous as the place where Lord Shiva performed Ananda Tandavam so the idol in this temple was built in the same way that Lord Shiva performed Nataraj Tandavam.
The temple which is measured in the form of Nataraja of the village is the only one in the country that represents the life of man. Every building in this temple seems to be eye catching to us. Chidambara temple has 9 entrances just like a man has navarandras. Man calls the wind 21 thousand 600 times a day. Six hundred gold petals are burnt. Ayurveda says that there are 72000 nadu in our body and in Chidambaram temples Ponnam is on the side of strength. Among the numbers 28 pillars 25 say nine colleges 90 types of Shakti specially told to Arusthan Balu Shastras in Arthamandap 18 think there is no linga darshan here everything is void Natarajaswamy Sivakama Sundari Amma is there only that is why it is called Chidambara secret Temple to be seen at least once in a lifetime Kriti Lingam Panchabhuta Lingam The name of the temple where Proddutur Ekambareshwara Temple is this Ekambareshwara temple in Kanchi Tamil Nadu. It is said that the Shiva lingam in this temple was made by Goddess Parvati herself out of clay and also Lord Shiva lived here under a mango tree so it is called Ekambareswara A mango tree Ekambareswara Swamy means a lord who shines under a mango tree It represents the earth So the linga is Pridhvi linga This temple was built by the Chola Kings of Vijayanagara The main deity Shiva is made here Mulavirat idol The ceremonial idol is also two They are made of clay and the temple has four galigopuras on four sides.
There are pillars there are one thousand and eight Shivlingas enshrined in the temple there is a 3500 year old mango tree in this temple according to the four branches of this tree it is said that the four branches of this tree bear fruits of four kinds of taste in different seasons. It is believed that children will be born but now we can see only the stem of the tree. Vayu lingam is the same as Swayambhu in Srikalahasti Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. This vaylinga is usually not allowed to get air even in the sanctum sanctorum of any temple. According to Agama Shastra the sanctum is built as Srikalahasti womb is the same. It is said that this is why Shiva is famous here as Vayu Linga. There are many secrets hidden behind the Shiva Linga in the sanctum sanctorum in Srikalahasti. Devotees believe that the Shiva Linga has life here. It is believed that Lord Shiva himself resides in the Shiva Linga in the sanctum sanctorum. It is said that this Shiva Linga has life. There is a special reason for saying this. Like the lamps the oil filled Jyothi burns brightly all the time The hill has not been climbed in this temple so far the reason is that the Shivlinga is believed to be the life of Lord Shiva, and that is why the legends say that whenever the Jyotirlinga shines it is the belief of the people that Lord Shiva is really present here.
Air means life only if there is air there is life. If there is life then there is gas in this creation there is only one Kailasam and also there is only one Kailasam that is Srikalahasti In this temple Ammavara Jnana Prasanna shines well. It is said that there is no other holy place in the world, how much prayer is given to the head of our country, this temple is understood by the construction of this temple. This temple was built during the time of Sri Krishna Deva Raya. Here the Galigopuram is very special. Performing in the direction and worshiping Lord Shiva is special here that is why the Rahuketula are said to be peaceful here. They are the most prominent in the Shiva temple where the water washes without any damage. The number 4 water lingam is another panchabhuta linga site measured in Tamil Nadu. There is Sri Jammukeshwara temple in a village called Jambukeswaram. It is said that Lord Shiva appeared in the form of water. It is said to be the oldest temple. This temple has five grand prakaras but the fifth prakara is said to have been built by a Siddhu who used to give some vibhuti daily to the prakara who worked here those who did not take Vibhudi with them when they went home this Vibhudi turned into gold so it is believed that Lord Shiva himself came in the form of Lord Shiva to build this rampart. According to the legends, one day Parvati was speaking in Kailasa while Goddess Parvati was talking to Lord Shiva. She took up her abode in this temple and made a linga form of that water with her energy and used to worship it under a Nere tree.
Like this when Goddess Parvati came to Jambu Island and took it it changed into a linga form then immediately it is said that Shiva became Shakti actually there is a story about this apricot tree. A sage who was fond of Lord Shiva went to him and worshiped him. On the way he took a ripe apricot and gave it to him. When Shiva ate it and rubbed the seeds on it he accepted it as prasad. The Lord ate it and spat out the seeds. The sage considered it as prasad and ate the seeds and the tree sprouted from his head. Then when he prayed to Lord Shiva and asked him to give a solution to this, Lord Shiva said that go to the area where the jambu tree is located on the bank of Kaverina and soon you will get salvation available when the water is flowing from Shivalingapalapatnam here why is a cloth covered over the lingam palavata as a proof. The goddess here is called Akhilandeshwari Goddess.
Thus there is a temple of this and that is why it is famous. Finally we have seen the number 5 Ajna Lingam on the hill of God. Once the devotees have faith we keep hearing about the story of Lord Shiva turning himself into a big pillar to test Brahma Vishnu and telling them to find out his Adi Antam that is beginning and end. After that it is said that the form of the command became a mountain and it is said that it has the meaning of malai prakasam. I think many people are thinking of going to such a shrine because everyone wants to visit the place where Lord Shiva shines and when they know about the uniqueness of each Araya it is said that when they know the uniqueness of the temple everyone will be curious to go to the temple.
