Jagan’s father was in trouble and after YSR illness all the Congress MLAs signed a letter and sent the letter to the party leadership, but the Congress high command did not agree to make Jagan the CM. Roshaiah was appointed as the Chief Minister in his place. At that time this decision disappointed the YSR fans. They could not bear the fact that YSR died in a helicopter accident. 462 injury of heart attacks and 60 committed suicide. A total of 462 YSR fans lost their lives. Perhaps because of the injury of any CM Jagan decided to go on a condolence trip to visit the families of those 462 people who had given their lives for YSR but the Congress leaders did not allow it so YSR wife Vijayamma went to Delhi and requested Sonia Gandhi but they did not agree. Vijayamma resigned from the party positions on 29th November 2010. After that Jagan passed a motion of no confidence on the Congress government and 17 MLAs stood by him because they were disqualified.
They returned to Jagan to win the by election and the next year on March 11 of 2011 he established a political party called YSRCP Yuvajana Shramik Rythu Congress Party. In fact what is the case about YSR name, a man named Shivakumar founded this YSRCP party which was founded by Jagan out of love for his father. They took responsibility and became presidents who lead forward and when the Congress party approved the separate state of Telangana YCP opposed that decision. Jagan agitated against the formation of Telangana. Jagan campaigned against the formation of Telangana and fought for Samaikyandhra in many ways and resigned from the elected party leaders and went on hunger strike and at the same time in 2012 YCP took steps towards the victory of Jagan leaders in 35 elections. Jagan won both the contests and in this order various pressures increased on Jagan but Jagan who was stubborn by nature did not back down and started filing cases against him. In this order on May 25 2012 the CPI arrested Jagan on charges of embezzlement and Jagan was in Chenchalaguda jail for 16 months. Jagan Mohan Reddy has this illegal case going on since 2012. At that time 11 CBI cases were filed against Jagan Mohan Reddy and charge sheets were also filed and the people who were with Jagan were also jailed for 16 months. Finally on September 23 of 2013 the CPI special court in Nampally granted conditional bail at which time Jagan bravely faced his problems.
During the difficult time his mother Vijayamma wife Bharti brother Sharmila had a festival for him. In the same order news of extreme opposition to his family started coming on social media. Despite the people affection the stain of corruption in the 2014 elections turned against Jagan. Jagan moved away from power and in 2014 general elections YCP contested from Telangana state of Andhra Pradesh. In Andhra Pradesh TDP BJP Kotami won 106 seats out of 175 seats and formed the government. YCP entered the ring alone and won 67 seats. One MP won the seats but in the later period YSR was not seen in the TRS party and Jagan who shouted for Samaikandra in accordance with the aspirations of the people during the division of the state after the formation of a separate state they heard for special status and demanded that they only want status and no package. At the same time 23 MLAs from YSRCP The party joined the TDP. This incident dealt a heavy blow to the YSRCP. He walked 3648 kilometers from Idupulapaya to Ichchapuram for 341 days through 113 assembly constituencies and on this occasion he personally met two crore Telugu people.
