Vijay Mallya grew from an ordinary middle class to a big business magnate and developed many businesses and at one time indirectly ruled the Karnataka government but due to his bad habits his business fell in some situations so much so that in the end he fell to the point where he could not even pay salaries. SBI bank along with 13 other banks have filed a case against Vijay Mallya because Vijay Mallya took a loan of 6000 crore rupees from us and now with interest it is 9000 crore rupees as he has not returned even a single rupee of the loan he took from us. SBI Banks filed a case in the Karnataka High Court asking them to give the money due and do justice so the High Court responded to this matter and warned them to arrest Vijaya Mallya and also gave permission to the police but Vijay Malle had already left without anyone knowing. Then the Indian government is also sitting on his hands without doing anything, before knowing the answer to all these questions who is this Vijay Mallya why did he borrow thousands of crores of rupees what are they doing in the bank to get that money Let me tell you about these things so that you can fully understand them First of all when it comes to Vijay Mallya personal life he was born on December 18 in 1955 in Dakshina Kannada a district near Mangalore City in the state of Karnataka in India so you are now 67 years old. When Ramaiah was Vijayamalya age that is when he was 28 years old he was elected as the chairman due to his father ill health and then in 1986 that is when he was 31 years old he began to love Sameera who was working as an air hostess.
And they both got married and they had a son named Siddharth. Soon after the birth of Malia but Babu his first marriage ended in divorce and then in 1993 when he was 38 years old Vijay Mallya married his childhood friend Rekha and had two daughters. Even though both of them are married they used to meet each other and the public also showed the same and success is seen from another angle. In this way he has done business with many Indian branded brands like Liquor Airplanes Real Estate Fertilizers since he started his business 60 companies have grown into a multi national conglomerate so much so that his annual turnover increased by 64% in 15 months from 1998 to 1999 his speech reached 19 billion in 1999 There is no turning back for Vijay Mallya in the business sector in the Assembly. He was elected as a Member of Parliament for two times from Karnataka. On the other hand his liquor company became the second largest spirits company in India with 10 crore cases. At the same time as the number one businessman is rising in his color in 2005 success and a mistake. Vijay Mallya made a decision and that decision completely changed his life. That decision is that in 2005 Vijay Mallya wanted to step into the aviation center that is flying. Vijay Mallya has always had a good interest in the airline business so at this time he was getting good profits and founded a company named Kingfisher Airlines and bought four planes. He used his planes for transport from Mumbai to Delhi under the name Kingfisher.
And then expanded the business by buying more airplanes and later started operating international flights as well. At that time Kingfisher Airlines got a good name because no other company was providing more comfort to every audience and passengers in less budget but every year the company was showing losses in some way. If we look at the losses in 2006 his company lost 341 crore rupees 706 Crores in 2007 and 213 Crores in 2008. At that time not only you but all the airlines also suffered a loss of 13 Crores at that time not only you but all the airlines suffered a similar condition. At the same time, Vijay took another wrong decision that is in 2008 the loss making area company was merged into his Kingfisher Airlines so his company had more flights and losses were also coming in the same way. At that time the prices of diesel petrol also increased immensely at least the employees were not able to pay their salaries. Because of this Vijaya Mallya tried to take a loan from SBI Bank by putting his Kingfisher company aside but he suffered a loss of 1371 crores in 2009 a loss of 1290 crores in 2010 and a loss of 1236 crores in 2011. Vijaya Malle kept on giving loans and then in 2012 the whole situation changed a lot and suddenly increased so all the names in the company went into a lot of losses but some companies closed down together. At the same time the Kingfisher Airlines company had no investors had already taken money from the bank and could not pay the employees due to losses
So the employees of the company protested. He decided to invest the money in this airline and make it successful but the money was not enough but no one came forward to invest. After reducing success Mallesh wrote letters to the government but the government did not respond. He asked the government to help him by giving money to save his company which was in loss. Even if we approached Pony Bank we thought that we would make a quotation from them but they did not give us the same disappointment. Finally in 2014 this Kingfisher company was closed down because it was realized that it was not possible to run its airlines with debts. Mallya incurred many types of debts and put in losses of approximately 6963 crore rupees with all the banks. On the other hand, he did not pay salaries of 300 crore rupees to the employees so Mallya who was once on the Pope’s list in 2010 after 2014 that is after the establishment of Kingfisher Airlines not only left the list but also became the person with the highest losses. SBI Bank waited until 2016 to settle their debts but the loan was not returned so SBI Bank decided to proceed in letters. The loan of 6000 crore rupees including interest became nine thousand crores by 2016 so in 2016 SBI filed a case against Vijay Mallya but six days before that Vijay Mallya left us. The government is trying to lure Vijay Mallya and collect money from here since 2016 some incidents have been happening between Vijay Mallya and the government.
After the SBI filed a case against him what Vijay Mallya said was that he has been running an alcohol beverage company for the past 30 years and in these 30 years the company has paid many thousands of crores of rupees in taxes to the government. He said that the company also owes crores of rupees to the government which is in tax and now my situation is not good so I have lost in the airline business.
He said that the government did not support the problem in the least and now they have given me the stamp of running away without paying the money. Many businesses have failed in India because of which the government has lost many lakhs of crores of rupees.
Vijay Mallya told the banks that they are paying the interest and now I will pay the original but I can pay the interest. Let us make a onetime settlement. He said that if he comes to India he does not believe that he will get justice in the Indian court the case will drag on for years but he will not agree to take the actual amount because the success is estimated to have assets of crores of rupees there are only a few assets in India all the rest are in UK the bank wants to take back the money due to them through the assets so from 2016 till now the banks have Their amount did not come back Vijaymalya also did not come to India even now he is saying that he will give the original amount taken but the bank is not agreeing to it anyway they want to get the amount including interest. And another 800 crore rupees from Punjab National Bank Another eight hundred crore rupees from IDBI Another 650 crore rupees from Bank of India Another 550 crore rupees from United Bank of India Another 410 crore rupees from Central Bank of India Another 320 crore rupees with UCO Bank Another 310 crore rupees with Corporation Bank Another 150 crore rupees with State Bank of Mysore Another 140 crore rupees with Indian Overseas Bank Another 90 crore rupees with Federal Bank Another 60 crore rupees with Punjab Sindhu Bank and another 50 crore rupees Axis Bank has taken this way looking at all this it is not just a success the bank is also theirs because a common man has to a loan of one lakh rupees, which means that the bank will turn him away. Only after giving each security deposit the bank will surely sanction the loan to them and also take a commissi
