In 1940 during the second world war the demand for steel increased worldwide at that time there was only one steel plant in India and he was working as a sales manager in Tata Steel under company a person named JC Mahindra saw the increasing demand for steel around the world and wanted to start a steel trading company of his own but JC Mahendra’s younger brother KC Mahindra had completed his graduation from cambridge university in England and was working in America along with his younger brother KC Mahendra and his friend MG in Ludhiana in Punjab in 1945. A steel trading company named Mahindra and Mohammed was started in that place but after the partition of India and Pakistan in 1947 MG Mohammed resigned from the company
When he got an opportunity to become the finance minister in the government of Pakistan they thought it would not happen because MG Mohammed water was too much in this company so after his departure in 1948 the name of this company was changed from Mahindra and Mohammed to Mahindra and Mahindra and the two brothers together saved this company no matter how difficult it was finally after the Mahendra company stabilized in the market as they thought this company started to grow very fast but because KG Mahender was abroad for many years for study and work he noticed one thing that is the automobile business is growing very fast in countries like America Europe and Germany so strongly believing that the automobile industry will grow rapidly in India in the future these two brothers wanted to start an automobile business in India together but after the independence of India our country mostly followed the socialist policy which means that any company to start a business in India needs to get a license from the government so finally mahendra

And started a company named Mahindra British Telecom you will understand first hand how Tech became Mahindra In 1984 JC Mahendra and anand Mahendra joined Mahindra Yugen Steel in Mumbai as a normal executive assistant in the finance department after working there for a few years he saw his management skills and leadership qualities and in 1989 he became the President of mahendra steel subsidiary musco company. with the same intention in 1994 he started a real estate business under the name Mahindra Live Space Developers Limited and in 1996 he started a hotel business under the name mahendra holidays and resorts from the time anand mahendra joined the Mahendra company till 1999 that is during these 15 years he did not do much except to take care of the business that was already in that company so that he could get his own recognition or let the world know what his talent is But he did that work in 2002 because he did not understand Mahindra Scorpio.
