In those days the government was mostly focused on agriculture industries even though Janardhan Reddy laid the foundation stone for IT industries it did not bring as much investment as expected not much focus on IT but after Chandrababu Naidu became the Chief Minister in 1991 the IT industry developed a lot In the same year
Chandrababu Naidu became the Chief Minister that is in 1996 an American multinational company started in Hyderabad for the first time and developed an area for IT industry named Hyderabad in 1998 a world famous company for the first time Microsoft started a branch in a country other than America and that too in our Hyderabad. Microsoft invested in India like Microsoft and not in Bangalore which was the leader in India in the IT sector after Microsoft invested in Hyderabad the name of Hyderabad in the IT industry suddenly came into everyone’s attention until then Bangalore was the center of IT industry in India but after Microsoft came to Hyderabad the government at that time did the government spent a lot of money to make it possible. Instead of Begumpet Airport the Shamshabad Airport was built and the outer Ring Road was built around Hyderabad to connect with Hyderabad YS Rajasekhar Reddy also worked hard for the development of IT keeping in mind the opportunities in the IT sector and keeping jobs in mind.
During the reign of Vice Rajasekhar Reddy Hyderabad attracted IT companies competing with Bangalore and the income from the IT industry started coming to the state more than expected also it has never worked to harm the IT industry because if there is any inconvenience to the IT industry the chances of companies moving to another state are high. Since then the IT industry has been developing every year in the united state of Andhra Pradesh and has been providing employment to millions of people. IT companies located in cities like Vijayawada Kurnool have invested mostly in Hyderabad. After the separation of the state in 2014 Telangana and Andhra Pradesh became separate states and in every respect the two states started comparing each other. Being two telugu states whatever happens in either state everything happens on social media. On 22nd Amaravati area between Vijayawada and Guntur was announced as the capital of Andhra Pradesh so even soon after the capital was decided many young people did not think about the IT industry because the capital area is not a developed area
But an area that needs to be developed, but the TDP government has focused more on industries. Efforts were made to develop Visakhapatnam especially for the IT industry but the then government did not fully succeed and in 2019 the government changed in Andhra Pradesh and the YSR Congress party came to power after the YSR Congress party came to power in Andhra Pradesh it took the decision of three capitals. Even today andhra state has lost a significant city and many companies have moved to other states in fact YSR Congress government tried to set up pharma companies data centers, cement companies but many people in Andhra Pradesh are of the opinion that the industry has not reached the state as expected. Amar Raja batteries have gone to Telangana so the youth has started criticizing the Andhra Pradesh government on social media. On the other hand the situation in Telangana is different the IT sectors are developing day by day in the industries. Before the separation of the state Hyderabad ITX Sports was only 57,000 crores but after the separation of the state like the old governments the TRS government has taken measures like the IT department to create interest for IT investments incentives to the industries concessions to the industries allotment of government places.
