In 1993 PV Narasimha Rao bought four MP with money so the court sentenced PV Narasimha Rao to three years in prison with a fine of one lakh rupees. How did Narasimha Rao get out did Narasimha Rao actually go to jail or did Arshad Mehta really bribe Narasimha Rao with one crore rupees The general elections were held and in those elections the Congress party got more seats but none of the parties got the necessary seats to form the government then what the Congress party did was to form the government along with some other small parties and Narasimha Rao became the Prime Minister. Actually Rajiv Gandhi should become the Prime Minister but the elections were held. At that time Rajiv Gandhi was killed in bomb blasts so Narasimha Rao became the Prime Minister. At that time india economy was not doing well. Imports were more than experts. Due to this the foreign currency results decreased greatly. There was only three more weeks of foreign currency results that could be imported. At that time India came to a situation where it could not even pay the interest on the debts taken. For any foreign company to do business in India many permissions had to be taken but in some sectors there was no actual permission for foreign companies to enter. Foreign currency results would increase only if foreign companies came and invested in India. Therefore Narasimha Rao started bringing reforms along with Finance Minister Manmohan Singh. Narasimha Rao Garu said that this will definitely lead to opposition from other parties but it does not t matter I will take care of the opposition.
The Indian market was slowly opened up to foreign companies as expected there was a lot of opposition from the opposition parties for doing the reforms. When the government in power brings any reference everyone has their own point of view about that reference. Announcing that they took a bribe of one crore rupees from me the government did not take action against those who demolished the Babri Masjid such incidents happened even their own party members did not like them. In 1993 the opposition CPIM party brought a no confidence motion in the parliament. No-confidence motion means that the government in power should prove its majority that is the majority of MP in the Lok Sabha should vote that they support their government. If the government in power loses in this vote, it will lose its power. Congress won and remained in power but Congress lost in the elections held in 1996. In the same year an advocate named Ravinder Kumar got information from one. In 1993 when the no conference motion was held the Congress party gave crores of rupees to some MPs of other parties to get votes in favor of their party. He also showed the bank accounts of those MP. Ravindra Kumar wrote a letter to the CBI explaining all the things he knew and asked them to take action but there was no response from the CBI so he filed a Public Interest Litigation in the court. Then what the court did was handed over the investigation to CBI and CBI started investigating the details in the chargesheet filed by CBI are as follows.
In 1993 when the No Congress motion was passed, the Congress party had the support of 250 MP but the party should not lose its power that means it needs the support of 14 more MP from other parties. They gave money to the MP and wanted to get votes in favor of their party. They started dealing. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha started contacting the MP of the GMM party and the MPs of the Janata Party. They discussed together and agreed to a deal. PV Narasimha Rao assured the four GMM MPs that they would pay 50 lakhs each after seeing the Jharkhand file. Out of those four MP one of the MPs became approved and told all these things. PV Narasimha Rao made a deal with his party men that 8 MP will be given petrol pumps for 40 lakhs each. The reason for giving the money is that the government in power will give any project contracts to their companies in the future. The entire investigation was completed. The court case went on for many days. Finally in the year 2000 Special Court Judge Ajith sentenced PV Narasimha Rao to 3 years imprisonment and a fine of 1 lakh rupees to PV Narasimha Rao who also worked with him. He also gave them 28 days to surrender to the police on the 28th day. Narasimha Rao lawyers argued that whether there is evidence or the others involved in the case the court has asked them to look at his age and the public service he has done in view of his heart condition in such a way that the punishment is a little less. In such cases the jail term is from six months to seven years. After this judgment both of them appealed in the Delhi High Court.
The Delhi High Court granted bail to both of them so Narasimha Rao did not go to jail. Finally in the 22nd year the Delhi High Court gave a judgment that PV Narasimha Rao and Butasingh were both innocent. Narasimha Rao was also involved in another cheating case. In 1983 a businessman named Lakku Baipathak met two people named Chandraswamy and Kailasanad Aggarwal. Looking for suppliers we both have a lot of insurance politically they said that if you give us four hundred thousand dollars we will give the contract to you. He called Lakku Boy and came to a hotel in New York as told. Lakku Boy who is a businessman came to the hotel then Chandraswami said what a minister will come here. PV Narasimha Rao at that time PV Narasimha Rao worked as a minister and two went into the room and came out after one and a half hours. Then Narasimha Rao said to Lakku Bhai Swamiji told me everything that your work will be done. After this meeting, Lakku bhai gave two checks to Chandra Swami and then Lakku bhai started waiting for the contract. But no matter how many days he waited he did not get the contract. As the contract did not come Lakku Bhai asked those two people to give him his money, but they did not give him the money, so Lakku Boy filed a case in 1988. Since then the case has been going on in the court. The court gave the judgment that the three were innocent. And when it comes to Harsham Mehatha accusation against Narasimha Rao in 1992 Harshad Mehta was involved in scam cases and even went to jail. While he was out on bail Arathi held a press meet.
The case also showed that nothing like that actually happened and Narasimha Rao denied the allegation against him. Even in the CBI investigation no evidence was found that Narasimha Rao had taken money but only on Harshana he showed some proof that he is Sunil Mittal and he showed the audio cassettes of the telephone conversation between the two of them and. 33 Say I will give you phone conversations like this, the court considers such recordings only as extras, but does not consider them guilty based on it. He said that he met Narasimha Rao at Harshana Road, but at that time the government showed proof that Rao was in his office. He could not show the proof that he gave the money to Rao. In this case too, Narasimha Rao was acquitted. In a forgery case however PV Narasimha Rao was arrested on the same day he received the mail. Chandraswami and some people are doing it together they forged the signature of V.P. Singhs son and created a foreign bank in his name and put money in it. They leaked the bank account in the news because they forged the signatures with the plan that if the opposition party gets a bad name they will lose the upcoming elections. They found out but there is no proof of what Narasimha Rao did. In this case too there is no proper evidence and the court gave judgment that all those involved in the case are innocent. Thus PV Narasimha Rao got involved in some cases. PV Narasimha Rao was the first Prime Minister to face criminal charges in the history of India as well as changes in the economy of India PV Narasimha Rao was also broughf
