This real name is Satyanarayana garu whom all people call as Puttaparthi. You were born in Gollapalli in Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh to Venkapparaju Eswaramma. There are five children in total the fourth child is Satyanarayana Raju but he has two older sisters two of them are one younger brother. This is a poor family since childhood. It is said that there is a small interesting story behind the birth of Satyanarayana Raju. It is said that as a result of Venkappa King Eswaramma couple doing Satyanarayana Vrat this Babu beat him and gave him the name Satyanarayana Raju. Named but it is said that on the occasion of his birth whatever music business was there in his house it was as if it rang all at once. Also according to the book written by Professor Narayana Kasturi Venkappa Raju Eswaramma couple performed a fast at Eswaramma house after a light in blue color and then she became pregnant and gave birth to a child. Later he himself wrote in that book that a cobra appeared next to the boy and that is why everyone called him Nagaraj.
Some more stories are told about your birth and when it comes to their childhood, they completed their primary education in Bukkapatnam village.He was very fond of drama, music, poetry acting and poetry. However one day in 1940 he declared himself to be Pakhiru of Shirdi Saibaba and he gave himself the exact same name. In the same year that is on 20th October 1940 he was 14 years old at that time. On that day devotees called him saying that he was giving up his studies. He told them at home that he had a lot of work to do and left the town. After that he spent three years sitting under a tree in a nearby garden. At the same time, people started coming to him slowly how he used to perform bhajans with the people who came to him, and the people who came there told everyone that he was the Sai Baba of this age, and since then they have been calling him Sai Baba. In the records of Bukkapatnam School his name is still visible in the records of the year 1942. From then on, everyone started calling him Satya Sai Baba of Puttaparthi. Later Sathya Sai started a tour to Madras in South India, so he quickly gained a huge number of devotees so in 1944 his followers built a temple for him. Called by the name of Old Mandir now it has become Sai Baba Ashram and Prashanti Nilayam. After that the construction of this complex was started in 1948 and completed in 1950. Gradually as the name of this temple spread, the number of devotees also increased tremendously.
A lot of buildings were built in this, Baba Chinna Green Hospital was built in Puttaparthi in 1954. In 1957 Sathya Sai traveled to all the temples of North India. In 1963 he suffered four heart attacks. It was lost and in 1958 the followers of Sathya Sai Baba started printing a paper called Sanatana Sarathi in his name. After that on 29th June 1968 he went abroad for the first time and visited countries like Uganda and Nairobi. Sathya Sai who went there said that he did not come to support any religion but came only to spread love to all. He came and settled in Gollapalli his native village. Since his village was so dear to him he decided to stay here till his death. This village was called Puttaparthi instead of Gollapalli. Once this area was very small, but after his arrival, this area developed a lot. There is a university here. Chaitanya Jyoti, a large religious exhibition hall has also been set up. The design of the exhibition space is so good that many awards have been given for this place. You will not see such buildings anywhere else.
This religious exhibition is also a spiritual museum, a railway station, an airport, an indoor stadium, and many facilities like Puttaparthi many people like to visit Sai Baba from all over the country and take his blessings. 13 thousand delegates from other countries came most of the time Sathya Sai used to stay here in Prashanti Nilayam and spend some days in Vrindavan Ashram in Bangalore during summer.
Sometimes they also go to Sai Shruti Ashram in Kodaikanal his devotees especially built three main mantras the first one is Dharamkshetra in Mumbai which is also called Satyam the second one is Shiva Temple in Hyderabad and the third one is Sundaram Mandir in Chennai. After that those who give darshan to those who come to see him especially like to see him in the month of October and November because he was born in that month so during the darshan time Baba messengers walk among the devotees and receive the salutations they give along with the papers and they create and distribute them with their hands. Baba gave permission to speak to some of the devotees for a special darshan. Cash in the amount of crores of rupees came as donations to them who had grown so high that on March 28 2011 his health failed and he was admitted to the hospital with kidney related problems. A Maha Samadhi was built for the body in the middle of Vedic mantras. All the activities were carried out in the hall of Puttaparthi peacefully. From July 15 in 2011 the devotees were allowed to visit the Mahasamadhi of Sati Sai Baba. Now when it comes to our real question let us talk about whether Puttaparthi Sai Baba is really God.
Due to Sathya Sai Baba Puttaparthi has changed its face as a famous shrine in Andhra Pradesh. But even though he did not get his permission for that, the scientist wanted to know about Baba glories and in April 1976 the then vice chancellor of Bangalore University a physicist a rationalist doctor started research on whether this deity really exists. Baba did not agree to the words of the committee and after that the efforts of the committee stopped in the middle and even beyond some controversy it said that it was not true. Alexander Negal wrote this in a book in 1994 many people have criticized but now many people are benefiting from the service programs and services he has established.
