Congress party split into two, one is Indian National Congress or Requisition and the other is Indian National Congress or an organization. Election Commission also gave two new symbols. In fact the original Congress party which most of the members supported Congress or Indira Gandhi but even if Kamaraju was there, Congress would have lost that is why it is old. It is also called Congress. Finally Indira Gandhi proved her majority in the Parliament and continued as the Prime Minister till 1977 and during this time the National Emergency came and the whole country was in turmoil.

The rest of the party was merged into Congress with Indira Gandhi as its leader. It again split into two in 1979. One was Congress and the other was Congress. Finally in 1981 the Election Commission of India recognized Congress as Indian National Congress and allotted it again with a hand mark. Finally after Indira Gandhi her son Rajiv Gandhi’s daughter in law Sonia Gandhi and her grandson Rahul Gandhi the Congress party has been in the hands of these four for more than 40 years so it is said that this party will be the politics of inheritance. The downfall of the Congress party has also started but there are many reasons for this. Like correction. This is because Rahul Gandhi oddly according to our constitution to become the prime minister of our country the person should be an MP in the parliament above 25 years of age but practically this is not enough because to become the prime minister of a country he needs to have a lot of knowledge and experience on the political system and administration. But Rahul Gandhi has none of this even if he is a prime ministerial candidate in 2014.
