BSNL which has established a communication network in every corner of India and provided honest telecom services to a few crores of Indians, why is there a situation where it will be closed down suddenly They do not provide services to them because they do not get profit in these areas but BSNL is a great company that has provided connectivity to the people in such remote areas as well as the rest of the world. Is it a mistake in the government or is BSNL necessary for the growth of private companies Apart from Vodafone Idea, Jio and Airtel have almost 80% of the industry. The point here is that if there is no government company like BSNL to compete with them in the future if they both come to an understanding and increase these services massively. What is the situation of common people like us who are used to it BSNL which was a duck that laid golden eggs for the Indian government till 2009 is now drowning in debts of about 60 thousand crore rupees. I am going to tell you today about many conspiracies and frauds In 1999 Indian Government Department of Telecommunication created Department of Telecom Services from DoT which became BSNL in 2000. BSNL company main intention was not to make profits but to provide telecom services to everyone in the country. BSNL will establish a complete network in the areas at least put towers too in 2001 when BSNL Company started its services in India there was no big private company in the Indian Telecom Industry at that time.
At this time BSNL provided services and grabbed more than 70% of the market share in the Indian Telecom Industry. If you see the profits of the company, you will understand how great this company is doing From the first year of BSNL start this company has given thousands of crores of rupees to the government and in the event of 2004 and 2005 itself BSNL has given about ten thousand 1083 crores of rupees in profits. That is in 2004 Dayanidhi Maran misused his power during his tenure as the Central Telecom Minister and installed 323 high speed communication lines related to BSNL in his own house in Chennai to increase the signals to the channels of Sun Network Company which is a sister company and also for their business transactions. According to Mr. Dayanidhi Maran who used BSNL network illegally he burned 50 lakhs of Indian Telecom network due to which BSNL company lost a lot of profits in the same way on the trust of the company. He took oath as Central Communication and IT Minister till then even though BSNL was a government company it was running as a separate entity but the Government of India increased their focus on BSNL completely and analyzed every decision taken by BSNL company ten times and took a decision. Similarly in 2007 BSNL company wanted to adopt a new wireless internet technology called WiMAX. Using this technology we can provide internet services even for long distance without wire connection.
If a wireless internet connection is provided within a radius of 20 meters the technology will provide high speed internet within a radius of 15 kilometers with a single antena. The point here is that BSNL wanted to adopt this technology for the first time in India but unfortunately it did not happen because of the Scanke Indian Govt on BSNL in 2004 CBI has filed a case that in 2007 the newly arrived A Raja took bribes to some unqualified companies and gave them at a very low price. As soon as ISKCON came out, the Government of India canceled all the tenders and projects given by BSNL and delayed giving any new project. In 2010 new companies like Airtel Idea, Reliance, TataDocomo entered already more than 70% market share of BSNL company on one hand due to lack of permission from the government to update their technology and on the other hand necessary works to buy more new ones or slowly BSNL company started losing its market share BSNL fall started from 2001 to 2008 more than 40 thousand crore rupees BSNL, a company given by the government after making profits saw losses for the first time in 2019. The losses are still continuing. In India, private companies like Airtel, Idea, Reliance Vodafone have invested thousands of crores of rupees and in 2018 all the feeder companies have adopted 4G but BSNL has remained on the 2G network
Due to not doing this, slowly all the customers of BSNL started moving towards private companies.
If there are no customers the revenue will decrease as well as the profits will decrease Impact BSNL has increased losses instead of profits, so the business of BSNL which has already collapsed due to politics faced another big risk in the form of Jio in 2016. This time it is not only for BSNL but many companies in Indian telecom sector have been sent to Jio. Many people think that the reason for this is Mukesh Ambani giving free internet because free is today. Companies are not given a chancedo not you understand Jio launched by Mukesh Ambani in 2016 not only gave free internet to all of us but also changed the Indian telecom industry. For example, before the advent of Jio companies like Airtel Idea and Vodafone used to collect more from every active internet user but after the advent of Jio Mukesh Ambani reduced it to ten rupees only Airtel Company was able to stand in the market in the face of this competition. The point is that after a few days Jio and Airtel have also increased the prices of their Telegram and Internet services. They are still increasing it but BSNL has not increased it in their range till then only 118 per month is received from each user and not only this but all the telecom companies in India are competing for 4G at the time of 2016 if even in the event BSNL could not be updated to 4G in India just think about media about BSNL Indian Govt. Presently how slow decisions are taken but Jio and Airtel are competing for 5G beyond 4g but BSNL is still at 30 so this situation is another reason for bsnl’s loss is that it is a government company
And no matter how much losses are incurred but the employees of this company are paid time to time salaries. Why am I saying this do you know how the situation of BSNL company has turned out at a point of time BSNL uses almost 60% of the money used to run this company to pay employees and what we all have to think about is that if more than 60% of the amount used to run a company is spent on the salaries of their employees how will the company cope and how will it continue in the market and do you know how many employees are there in BSNL company which has more than 50 thousand crores of debt with market yard. 64,000 people. The point here is that a private company comes out of loss and a government company comes out of loss. It takes strict action on those who are not working properly and takes all necessary steps to get into profits quickly because BSNL is a government company the company is in profit and losses, but BSNL has to pay the salaries of its employees who have taken loans. In fact this is also one of the reasons why this company is not coming out of losses.
The situation is that BSNL which was once the number one company in wireless mobile services in India is now only 9% almost 15 lakhs. It has lost more than 3500 crores of users in the financial year 2022. So to get BSNL out of the situation Modi government announced a release package worth 1.64 thousand crore rupees on June 27 on 2022. This money will be used to build the necessary infrastructure. Apart from that, Ashwini Vishnav who looks after the administration of an Indian driving company said that BSNL will launch 4G services all over India on 23rd of 2022. And 5G was also launched within seven months of the launch of 4G and it was announced that BSNL is going to replace it in 2027.
