In this way the whole family had to move to many cities but whenever there was a school holiday in between Chiranjeevi would go to his grandmother village. Chiranjeevi father Venkatarao had a habit of staging plays. Part of this was the audition of Venkatarao director Adurthi Subbarao for a role in the movie Thene Manasulu starring hero Krishna. All of them were also selected but because of the constable job Chiranjeevi father Venkatarao could not do that character. At that time Chiranjeevi and Venkatarao played small roles in that time from 1967 to 1968. My father was very street because of Sivashankar who was a rioter we have to tell about an incident that happened in Chiranjeevi school days. During Chiranjeevi’s school days his friend Satya Prasad was doing a program in the school. Even though Shankar was the same Chiranjeevi he went to the place where Rehsal was taking place and observed the play. After completing the B.Com and getting the degree without their father knowledge Shankar sent a letter to Punafilm Institute after seeing that letter Venkatrau was very angry with Chiranjeevi. Venkatrau said that he liked Chiranjeevi but Chiranjeevi mind was on movies and he was going to Madras to study ICU. Chiranjeevi was told to study and sent to Madras on January 22 in 1977. He went to Madras staying in his friend room and paying a monthly rent of 100 rupees at the same time a South Indian film company told us to contact us so Chiranjeevi applied for it then they looked at Chiranjeevi application and sent a letter in that letter asking Chiranjeevi to attend the interview. Chiranjeevi read the dialogues very hard to make an impression.
Dasari, Vishwanath Pullaiah and TVV Raju were there for the interview. Meanwhile Chiranjeevi roommate friend Sudhakar got an opportunity to act in two films at the same time one in Tamil and two in Telugu.
Since these two films were at the same time he asked the director to give his friend Chiranjeevi an opportunity in a Telugu film so the director agreed and Chiranjeevi got his first movie opportunity through his friends and the name of the movie was Pandham Raal. Moreover, he went home and told all his family members and everyone was very happy. But then he said that the name Shiva Shankar Varaprasad is not right to put the name of the movie on the screen thinking what should we name it one day Shankar had a dream that he was in the temple and his friend Chiranjeevi called him Raa and when she asked him who he was calling him ge told his mother that Chiranjeevi is another name he bought for Hanuman. What is not known is that Chiranjeevi was changed for the first movie. If we talk about Chiranjeevi film debut then we have to talk about all the movies of Megastar Chiranjeevi. It takes a lot of time to list that list. On February 11 in 1978 the shooting of the movie Pandamarallu started in a village called Gummadi Doddi near Rajahmundry. Among the boys Chiranjeevi is also a character but he has to come from the farm and go into the house. First two boys go from the farm but this character is meant to look good on the screen.
Chiranjeevi acting started from there and admired many people saying that you are doing your acting.
