There are many Indian greats one of them Prakasam Pantulugaru if we have to talk about the first of the fighters of India freedom struggle born in Telugu we should talk about Prakasam Pantulugaru. 23 Six children were born in 1872. One of them was Prakasam family in Tanguturi in Guntur district. At the age of 11 months Prakasam father expired and Prakasam came to Ongola with his family to survive. Before going to England in 1964 just like Mahatma Gandhi. They told their mother not to touch alcohol and went to study as a barrister. After going there, while studying there he joined the Indian society and campaigned enough to get elected to the British Parliament. At this time Prakasam’s national sentiments became more and more interested in social activities. He started practicing as a judge in the High Court at that time all the bastards were mostly English, Tamil, Telugu were very few and during his career he got some people punished. He also started attending the Congress Party meetings frequently and signed the Satyagraha Pratihana in October 1921. After that he was earning lakhs in those days and left his legal profession to join the freedom struggle for the country. He also ran a production center and was elected the General Secretary of the Congress Party in the conference held in December 1921.
He traveled to comfort the people and worked a lot in Muslim Hindu Karshan. On the occasion 30 thousand people held a demonstration in Guntur. Then Gurudaina Prakasam challenged the British police to shoot him by tearing off his shirt and showing him a chance and got the name in 1937 the Congress party contested regional elections and studied economics in the Madras Residency. At that time Prakasam returned to active politics as a candidate for the post of Chief Minister. However Prakasam dropped out as the Chief Minister candidate to become the Chief Minister. Because of this an inquiry committee was formed to investigate the agricultural sector and Prakasam was presided over by Prakasam.
On 30th Prakasam was elected as the Chief Minister of Madras but he could not work according to the views expressed by various sections of the party and Prakasam government could only last for 11 months. For the welfare of the common people Prakasam ignoring the warnings of Jawaharlal Nehru about his personal safety in 1948 visited the state of Hyderabad under the Nizams rule with the help of the Nizam. Kasim Ridjweni the leader of the terrorizing authorities issued a warning. Appreciating the courage shown by Prakasam in this case he was honored in the king car and due to the opposition of the poor people in the process of working on behalf of the Congress party in 1952 Prakasam founded the Praja Party on his own and all the ministers of the Congress party in power lost the election. Had to be formed but this coalition collapsed before it could prove its strength Meanwhile in December 1952 Potti Sriramulu died on hunger strike for the sake of a separate Andhra state and his movement became more intense. He released all the prisoners of Andhra state for the first time in the country during the formation of the state in just 13 months of his government, in those days he established 14 irrigation projects besides Sri Venkateswara University established the High Court for Telugu people and also made necessary changes for the management of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam.
